From vineyards over fifty years of age comes this Côtes de Bordeaux Rouge "Duc des Nauves", by Château le Puy. It ferments with only natural yeasts, and ripens on the yeasts in small concrete vats for ten months. It is bottled without being clarified or filtered. Fragrant and fresh, it is easy to drink and proves young, simple and generous, but of quality at the same time. Ruby red, it reveals a fruity and intense bouquet on the nose, characterized by floral memories of violet and references to plum, cherry and blackberries. Pleasant vegetable tones complete the olfactory picture. Fresh and fragrant tasting, well balanced and generous in the drink. Good persistence.
